What is Action for Determination of Service?

An action for the court to establish the existence and duration of work that was unregistered or under-declared for social security.

It is brought by the employee against the employer and the social security institution. Payslips, workplace records, witness statements and entry and exit records are used as evidence. It is decisive for the right to a pension, for workplace accident compensation and for employment claims.
