What is Interim Injunction?

A temporary protective order preventing a right from becoming impossible to obtain, or preventing harm from delay, until the case is concluded.

It takes forms such as an annotation on the title, freezing a bank account or stopping an activity. It can be requested even before proceedings are issued; in that case the action must be brought within two weeks.
