Glossary
What is Defective Goods?
A product that does not conform to the qualities agreed in the contract or lacks the features objectively expected of it.
A defect is not only a fault: the absence of a feature stated on the label or in advertising, faulty installation and an incomplete user manual are defects too. The consumer may choose freely between free repair, replacement with goods free of defect, a reduction in price and rescission of the contract. Liability as a rule lasts two years from delivery.
